Federal Pell Grant

The Federal Pell Grant is awarded to help undergraduate students and provides the "foundation" on which other Financial Aid sources may be added.  Awards may range up to $4,050 per year in 2006-2007.

Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (SEOG)

Awards range up to $500 per year depending upon demonstrated need, availabililty of funds, and the amount of other aid being received.

Monetary Award Program (MAP)

The Monetary Award Program is a state of Illinois need based grant that can assist students who are residents of Illinois in paying a portion of tuition and madatory fees at Lincoln Land Community College.

Illinois Incentive for Access Grant (IIA)

Illinois Incentive for Access Grant is a state of Illinois program that provides a one time $500 per year grant to the neediest freshman students.

Federal Work-Study

The Federal Work-Study program provides on-campus employment for students while they attend college.  Students who receive Federal Work-Study funds must:

• Demostrate need to be eligible for work-study funds.
• Be paid at least federal minimum wage, but wages are related to the type and difficulty of work being performed.
• Work no more than 20 hours per week.
