Degree & Certificate programs

Lincoln Land Community College offers a variety of degree and certificate programs for individuals interested in obtaining training and pursuing careers in the emerging and rapidly growing green economy.

See below for information on current degree and certificate programs.

HIRE EDUCATION GREEN CONSTRUCTION workforce certificate

Through the LLCC HIRE Education program, interested individuals can obtain a Green Construction Workforce Certificate, which gives students a foundation in the fundamental knowledge and skills required to work with residential or commercial green construction and related fields.

We are currently taking enrollment for the program on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The intensive addresses the skills necessary to pursue employment in green construction-related fields by providing training in construction tools, equipment, and safety; advanced technical math; business communication; mechanical systems; building envelope; green materials and rating systems; carpentry; plumbing; electrical; and landscaping and site planning.

Upon completion of the green construction program, participants will obtain OSHA 10 certification and an opportunity to be placed in a career with high wage-earning potential or to continue on and earn an associate degree from LLCC.

Student selection for the program includes attendance at an orientation, a math and reading assessment and an individual interview. Students must have a high school diploma or GED to be eligible for the program.
