Students seeking admission to the Honors Program at Lincoln Land Community College must meet the following requirements:

• High academic achievement as demonstrated by class rank, GPA, standardized test scores (25 or above on ACT), awards, honors.
  
• Two letters of recommendation from the student’s former or current high school teachers or college instructors.
  
• An essay of 300-500 words describing personal and career goals and explaining personal and career goals, and in what way participation in the Honors Program help the student reach them.
  
• Photocopies of awards, honors, and other accomplishments.  

Applications for admission only can be obtained from the LLCC Foundation or from the Arts and Humanities office (786.2318)

Students may be admitted to the Honors Program at any time.

Students are required to attend an ORIENTATION * program after they are admitted to the program and enroll in the LEADERSHIP CLASS their first fall semester on campus.

• *The Honors Program Orientation allows the new students a chance to familiarize themselves with both the school and each other. The expectations and organization of the program, including requirements, committees, events, and leaders will all be discussed during the orientation, and any questions you may have about the program will glady be answered by a leading member of the staff.
