Facilities Services |

Faculty |
An employee of the College who performs services as an instructor, librarian or media specialist.
Full-time Instructional Faculty Member - an employee of the college who generally teaches during consecutive semesters 15 or more credit hours of instruction per semester, or its equivalent.
Adjunct Instructional Faculty Member - an employee of the college who generally teaches fewer than 15 credit hours of instruction per semester or its equivalent. |

Full-time faculty will be granted 104 sick hours per academic year (120 hours the first year), plus 16 additional hours for eight or more weeks of employment during the summer session. |

Professional Staff |
120 sick hours per fiscal year will be granted to Professional benefit-eligible employees per fiscal year. |

Employees will not be compensated for any unused sick leave at the time of termination or retirement. |

Health and Dental Insurance
|
LLCC offers benefit-eligible employees medical insurance and a monthly benefit allocation to offset the premium of the plan. Dependent coverage is available through a pre-tax payroll deduction. Life Insurance
|
Life Insurance equal to twice the employee's base annual salary (rounded to the nearest $1,000 to a maximum of $150,000) is provided and paid by LLCC.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
|
Provides free, confidential, professional counseling and referral services to help employees and their family members resolve personal problems, which may affect their health, personal well-being, or job performance. Assistance Program web site

Retirement
|
All employees, as designated on this website, participate in the State University Retirement System (SURS) and are governed by the rules and regulations set forth by the Board of Trustees of SURS. Employees contribute 8% of their gross pay.

Sabbatical (Faculty Only)
|
Full-time Faculty members may apply for a sabbatical leave after completing 6 years of continuous full-time service. Options include a one semester sabbatical at full salary or one year at 50% salary.

College Tuition
|
LLCC tuition and fees will be waived for credit hour courses taken by the employee, spouse of employee and dependent children under 22 years of age.
|
|
Credit Union
|
LLCC is affiliated with Sangamon Schools Credit Union. To become a member you must open a savings account with a deposit minimum of $25.00. Direct deposit of paycheck and payroll deductions for savings, Christmas Club accounts, Travel Club account and loan payments is available.
