The Surgical Technology program at Lincoln Land Community College is currently accepting applications for a Clinical Site Assistant. This is a 19 hour per week, non-benefited position and will be based in the Springfield area. This contractual position would begin in January 2012. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assigning students to surgical cases; monitoring and reporting student attendance and progress at the clinical site; assisting students in completing case logs and documenting clinical experiences; and acting as a liaison between the program director, faculty and clinical site. This position requires the Certified Surgical Technologist credential with a minimum of 1 year of current operating room experience.
