Steps to Get Support

Advantages of Using the Help Desk System

You can create a help desk ticket request from any computer with an internet connection at any time of the day or night.
No waiting for the phone, no standing in line at the window.
A searchable knowledge base is available for commonly asked questions and resolutions.
You can provide a detailed, written description of the problem so that our technicians will be able to resolve the problem quickly.
You can always see the status of your call by logging into the help desk. 
Anytime you need to communicate with the technician assigned to your call, just login to the help desk, select your ticket, click on the "comment" button to add information, then click the "save" button.  The technician will see your comments as an email sent directly to his/her inbox.
By creating a ticket, the documentation will provide a written history of the computer.  This will assist the technician should any problems arise again in the future.
Ability to provide feedback after your ticket has been completed.

Email

  1. Send an email to hd@llcc.edu (you must use your LLCC email account to submit a trouble ticket via email)
  2. In the body of your email, please describe the problem(s) you are having. Describe what you were doing when the problem occurred

Phone

  1. Call the Help Desk at (78)6.2555
  2. Please select the appropriate number from the voice menu:
    1. Do you need help activating your account or resetting your password?  If yes, select Option #1 
    2. If you are a student needing assistance, please select Option #2
    3. If you are an employee needing assistance, please select Option #3
  3. Give us your name and a phone number that we can reach you at during the day-time
  4. Leave a detailed message describing the problem
