Windows 7 Deployment Project

Starting this summer, ITS will start deployment of Windows 7 operating sys-tem to the college computers.  Deployment will be gradual over several months.  More information about this project including deployment scope, schedule and training will be sent out soon.  Details will be shared with each department and individuals prior the system upgrade.

The present Information Technology Master Plan includes Information Technology (IT) objectives and activities that will support the Goals of the College in the FY2008-2010 period.  The IT objectives will directly support "Goal 4: Financial Strength" and "Goal 6: Operational Strength" of the College Plan (see Appendix A) by minimizing cost to conduct college business and optimizing operation efficiency across the institution.
