9/2-Opportunity to assist a co-worker's son Back |
As many of you have heard, April Marsaglia’s son Bryce was diagnosed this summer with RP (Retinitis Pigmentosa), which is a congenital, degenerative eye disease. In his case, it manifested itself initially in “night blindness”. Subsequently, Bryce is beginning to lose his peripheral vision. While he hopes to maintain his central vision, it is probable that total blindness will occur. Bryce recently accepted the challenge of participating in the Second Annual St. Louis VisionWalk, a big step in boosting research for retinal degenerative diseases, hosted by the Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB). The Walk is on September 27th and will be held at Tower Grove Park's Sons of Rest Pavilion.
If you would like to sponsor Bryce for this very important event. You can click the link below to make a safe and secure donation online in support of his team, or a donation via check made payable to Foundation Fighting Blindness can be dropped off in the ITS office helpdesk. Please put “Team Bryce Bryce Baby” in the memo field.
Any amount, BIG or small, helps in the fight and is greatly appreciated.
Please feel free to forward this link. Part of the mission of the FFB is awareness. By forwarding this link, you may be able to connect an affected person with the Foundation.
Thank you for your friendship and support.
