9/8 - Japanese students visit LLCC Back |
A group of Japanese students visited LLCC Thursday as part of a delegation hosted by UIS and the Sister Cities Association. The students toured LLCC, tested the Human Race Machine and cooked an "All-American Dinner" with LLCC culinary arts instructors Nina Rossini and Teri Branham. The dinner menu included meatloaf, corn on the cob, lime jello salad and apple pie. Blanca Bernasek, director, Multicultural Awareness Center and and Jay Kitterman, director, hospitality management/culinary programs, coordinated the effort with UIS.
