GHOST HUNTING 101 Whether you are a true believer or a skeptic with an open mind, this course offers a deeper insight into the world of the paranormal. Learn best practices for ghost hunting, investigating and reviewing evidence as a respected professional provides guidance to the essential characteristics and scientific methodology of paranormal investigation.

GHOST HUNTING 102 This class prepares you for the full investigative experience and the analysis of a visit to an actual site. Develop an investigation plan and learn techniques for reviewing evidence. Attend three unique sessions, including a visit to a field destination which is thought to be “haunted” to observe, record and verify unusual phenomenon. Ghost Hunting 101 is a prerequisite.

BASIC PHOTOGRAPHY Learn the fundamentals of photography that apply to black and white film, color film and digital photography. This course covers the basics: camera types, lenses, filters, depth of field, metering, exposure control and tripods. Learn camera procedures using both automatic and manual modes and
examine the importance of lighting and composition. Please bring a notebook, pen and a camera.

THREAD PAINTING MADE EASY Learn to paint with your needle while combining your love of color, cloth and design in this hands-on sewing class. Use the sewing machine and the creative “thread painting” technique to apply colorful stitches and added dimension. Supply fee of $15 payable to instructor. Bring scissors and two spools of Coats & Clark all-purpose thread 250 or 1500 yd spool in natural or cream, available at any fabric or discount superstore.

FINDING YOUR HERITAGE This workshop is designed for individuals with limited or no previous experience with researching or documenting family histories. Each session builds upon known information and includes procedures for researching, documenting, organizing and filing materials. This course is not about computer software – it focuses on determining what, where and how to maintain the historical information. Please bring an 8.5” X 11” notebook paper and a pen to the first class.
