LLCC Theatre presents two, one-act, student-directed plays April 18, 19, 25 and 26 at 8 p.m. in the lower level of Sangamon Hall South on the Lincoln Land Community College campus.
The plays are Harold Pinter’s “The Dumb Waiter,” directed by A.J. O’Shea, and William Saroyan’s “Hello Out There,” directed by Amy Cantrall, presented on a double bill each evening.
There is no advance ticket purchase required, with a suggested $5 donation at the door.
The project is cast with LLCC theatre students and supported by LLCC theatre faculty and staff. “This is a great opportunity for students to come into their own via a truly immersive experience,” said Mark Hardiman, theatre faculty at LLCC. “We wanted to provide a great opportunity for LLCC theatre students, in every sense, to shine.”
The theatre program at LLCC is designed to empower students to create their own work as well as work within the industry. More information on LLCC Theatre is available by calling 786.4942 or emailing email@example.com.
