LLCC's precision agronomy degree and certificate programs prepare students for a career using ever-evolving technology in the agriculture industry. Students learn using the latest technology in yield mapping, seeding, soil testing and more. Students also learn about equipment, soils, and weed and pesticide identification for proper applications. LLCC features excellent facilities with dedicated instructors and provides students with hands-on experience for their future careers in equipment operation and custom application. Precision agronomy students working toward an associate in applied science degree historically have had at least three job offers prior to graduation, with similar numbers for students pursuing a certificate.

Degrees & Certs

LLCC offers the following associate degree program in precision agronomy and custom application to prepare students for transfer to a four-year college or university. A certificate of completion in precision agronomy operator is also offered.

Cost

For the 2023-2024 academic year (fall 2023, spring 2024 and summer 2024), agriculture (AGR), agribusiness management (ABM) and agri-fertilizer operations (AFO) classes have a tuition rate of $171.25 per credit hour for in-district residents. All other classes in the program have a standard in-district rate of $137 per credit hour. Get more information on tuition and fees.
