SPRINGFIELD—Two Lincoln Land Community College community education opportunities are available at LLCC-Litchfield in September and October. Courses being offered are Basic Computer Skills and Ghost Hunting 101.
Basic Computer Skills (CEW 101-35) will take place on Thursdays, 9 a.m.-noon from Sept. 21-Oct. 5. Participants can learn the basics of personal computers — from using the power button to searching the internet. The course also highlights the basics of email and social media. The fee is $39.
Ghost Hunting 101 (CEW 112-24) is a one-day program offered on Thursday, Oct. 26 from 6-9:30 p.m. This course provides a deeper insight into the world of the paranormal as participants learn about best practices for ghost hunting, investigating and reviewing evidence. Respected investigators guide participants through the essential characteristics and scientific methodology of paranormal investigation. The fee is $49.
