The Lincoln Land Community College Foundation Board of Directors welcomed four new members and recognized outgoing board members recently.
The following community members joined the board:
Kathy Dierkes of Chatham is a certified public accountant and serves as chief financial officer at M.J. Kellner Co., Inc. Previously she worked at Kerber, Eck and Braeckel, LLP and Doctors Hospital.
Mitch Rogers of Springfield is administrator of cardiovascular services with Memorial Health System. Working in the health care field the past 25 years, his previous work experience includes serving as the executive director of the Prairie Heart Institute at St. John’s Hospital. Rogers earned his associate degree in nursing at LLCC, and both his Bachelor of Science in nursing and Master of Business Administration at Benedictine University. He also serves as a member of the YMCA board.
Jennifer Stice of Ashland serves as assistant vice president and senior trust officer of trust and investment services at Town and Country Bank. She graduated cum laude from Western Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and attained her MBA from the University of Illinois Springfield. Stice also serves as vice chair for the Girls on the Run of Central Illinois board of directors.
Mitch Wernsing of Springfield is a certified public accountant and serves as corporate controller at Bunn-O-Matic Corporation. A native of Harvel, he is a graduate of Lincolnwood High School and an LLCC alum. He received his bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University and also attended University of Illinois Springfield.
The LLCC Foundation Board also recognized and offered sincere thanks to outgoing board members Kyle Killebrew and Jackie Richie of Springfield for their service to the Foundation and support of LLCC students.
The LLCC Foundation’s mission is to raise and receive charitable gifts in support of the students and programs of Lincoln Land Community College.
