This spring, Lincoln Land Community College will be providing an opportunity for future students to complete many of the tasks required before starting college at LLCC during an Open Registration Prep Day event on March 30, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. This free event will take place on the LLCC-Springfield campus, 5250 Shepherd Road.
Participants can attend a New Student Orientation session, activate an online account, fill out a Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) form, take placement tests if necessary and schedule an appointment or meet with an academic advisor. Lunch will be provided.
“If you’ve made the decision to attend LLCC, this is a great opportunity to accomplish many of the enrollment steps in one day,” explains Lisa Collier, associate vice president, enrollment services.
Before the event, participants will need to complete the LLCC admission form by going to www.llcc.edu and clicking on “Apply Now.” They will also need to submit high school, GED and other college/university transcripts as well as SAT/ACT test scores.
Registration for the event is required and due by March 18. For more information and to register, visit www.llcc.edu/Open-Reg-Prep.
