Lincoln Land Community College community education opportunities are available at LLCC-Litchfield and LLCC-Taylorville during the spring semester. Courses being offered cover topics including computers and personal development.
Courses available at LLCC-Litchfield:
Basic Computer Skills will be offered twice during the semester. It will be held Tuesdays, 9 a.m.-noon from Jan. 16-30. It will also be offered on Tuesdays, 9 a.m.-noon from April 3-17. Participants can learn the basics of personal computers — from using the power button to searching the internet. The course also highlights the basics of email and social media. The fee is $39.
Word, PowerPoint and Excel Basics is offered on Wednesdays, 9 a.m.-noon from Feb. 21-March 7. This course teaches participants the basics of these Microsoft applications. The fee is $39.
Course available at LLCC-Taylorville:
Creating a Vision Board That Works will be offered on Friday, April 13 from 9 a.m.-noon. Participants will create a vision board and learn how to manifest dreams and goals by using it as a tool. Identifying goals before the course is not necessary. It will be part of the process in this course. The fee is $19.
