Recommendations to Cabinet may be made by the Shared Governance Council or any of the Shared Governance standing committees also known as SGC Teams. The following four steps make up the SGC recommendations process:
Please forward any questions regarding this process or any of the recommendations to your SGC representative. A list of the current representatives can be found on the SGC Members page.
- Teams should submit the completed Recommendation form to the Cabinet member they report to and the Shared Governance Council via email attachment.
- The Cabinet member will bring the recommendation to Cabinet for review and the Shared Governance Council will log it on this SGC Recommendations Listing.
- Cabinet will inform both SGC and the SGC Team of their decision regarding the recommendation. A brief rationale will also be provided.
- SGC will then log that decision on the SGC communication grid.
