The Academy of Lifelong Learning (ALL) sponsored by Lincoln Land Community College was founded in 1992 to offer educational adventures for anyone 55 and older. Classes and activities are planned and presented by members who enjoy meeting interesting friends, sharing ideas, exploring topics of interests, learning from one another and having fun! No prior educational background or professional experience is required or expected. A love for learning and a desire to share ideas are the only prerequisite.

Some upcoming ALL events are:
On Tuesday, Jan. 6, the group will meet for breakfast beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Hillsboro Country Club. Members should note the new breakfast location. The program will feature Deck Majors, wildlife biologist with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. Cost for breakfast is $10 per person. Reservations for the breakfast must be made in advance by contacting the SREC at 324.2090.
On Wednesday, Feb. 18, a field trip is planned to watch the eagles in the Grafton and Pere Marquette areas. Details will be announced at the Jan. 6 breakfast meeting.
Other upcoming activities include the monthly breakfast meeting Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 8:30 a.m. at the HiIlsboro Country Club and a surprise slide show about the “north country” on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 1:30 p.m. at the SREC-Litchfield.
