The Psychological Services Bureau (PSB) Test for Health Occupations is an aptitude test to assess student preparedness to enter a health occupation field of study. It is comprised of five subject areas: academic aptitude, spelling, reading comprehension, natural sciences, and vocational adjustment.
The PSB exam is administered by appointment ONLY. PSB exam registration must be done in person by visiting the Office of Placement and Testing. No appointments will be scheduled over the phone or by email.
This exam will be offered by appointment only at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Thursdays during the months of January, February, March and April. No walk-in testers will be admitted. Please contact Stephanie Cummings at 217-786-2246 or Carrie Jacobs 217-786-4672 with any questions.

After scheduling your exam appointment, the testing fee of $40 must be paid at Registration prior to test day. This fee can be paid by cash, check and credit card/debit card.
- On test day, you must bring the original copy of the fee receipt along with a valid photo ID.
- Report to the Office of Placement and Testing located in Menard Hall.
- Please arrive 15 minutes early for check in.
- A current government issued photo ID is required to test (ex. Driver’s license, State ID or a passport). A current Lincoln Land student ID is acceptable.
