Student Government Association

The Student Government Association is the official governing council for the student body and provides recognition for all student organizations on campus.  The SGA is comprised of 15 Senators, 4 officers, and 1 Student Trustee. 

The Student Government Association is a member of the American Student Government Association and the American Student Association for Community Colleges.  Members attend various leadership conferences and retreats each year and serve on numerous institutional committees.  

The SGA coordinates various events including community service programs and Soberfest, an annual program to raise awareness regarding alcohol abuse and promote a responsible lifestyle.
