SPRINGFIELD– The Lincoln Land Community College Training and Education for Adult Learners (TEAL) program is recognizing adult education students at the annual TEAL Recognition Ceremony on Wednesday, May 14 at 7:30 p.m. The event will be held in the Student Union in Menard Hall on LLCC’s main campus, 5250 Shepherd Road, Springfield.
This special event honors GED graduates and students in addition to recognizing students in the English as a Second Language (ESL), citizenship, Technology and Education for Employability Mastery (TEEM), literacy tutoring and workplace skills classes. Special recognition will be given to community partners who have supported TEAL’s programs and events.
TEAL classes are held at LLCC’s main campus, Springfield East Campus, LLCC’s regional centers in Beardstown, Jacksonville, Taylorville, and Hillsboro, and at sites in Girard, Virden and Petersburg. ESL classes are also held at Chinatown Restaurant in Litchfield and Hunan Restaurant in Springfield.
