SPRINGFIELD¬–High school students, parents and adult learners are invited to attend Campus Visit Day at Lincoln Land Community College on Saturday, Nov. 1.  The free event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon, with check-in at Menard Hall on LLCC’s main campus, 5250 Shepherd Road in Springfield. 
 
With the theme of “WELLCCOME,” the Campus Visit Day open house offers prospective students the opportunity to sample mini-classes with LLCC professors and attend sessions on starting college, financial aid, and choosing a major or career program.  Mini-classes and informational sessions will repeat every half hour.  Advisors and department representatives will be available at a “One Stop Shop” to answer individual questions and discuss students’ interests and goals.
 
Campus tours will be offered. Students may also begin the process of registering for spring semester classes if they wish until noon.

Continental breakfast will be served, as well as culinary treats prepared by LLCC Culinary Arts students.
