SPRINGFIELD–The public is invited to celebrate the holidays in the grand Renaissance tradition at the Lincoln Land Community College 30th Annual Madrigal Dinner. This special anniversary event featuring a Scottish theme will be held Friday and Saturday, Dec. 12 and 13, at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 14, at 4:30 p.m. in the Student Union of Menard Hall, LLCC main campus, 5250 Shepherd Road, Springfield.

The event will consist of musical entertainment and skits by the LLCC Madrigal Singers and a meal including wassail and assorted cheeses, soup, roasted chicken and vegetables, dessert, coffee and tea.
The LLCC Madrigal Singers are under the direction of Barbara Lanham, professor of music, and Sue Hamilton, adjunct music and private applied voice instructor.
The event is being produced by Melinda Pitt-Kaye, adjunct music and private applied voice instructor at LLCC.
