Instruction includes reading, writing, math, social studies and science. Classes are available at various times at the following Springfield locations: • LLCC main campus, 5250 Shepherd Road • LLCC East Springfield Learning Center, 1507 E. Cook St. • YWCA, 421 E. Jackson St. • Catholic Charities, 1023 E. Washington St. (corner of 11th and Washington) The TEAL program also offers ESL (English as a Second Language) and TEEM (Technology for Education and Employability Mastery) classes on LLCC’s main campus, 5250 Shepherd Road, Springfield. ESL classes offer basic instruction in English including listening, speaking, reading and writing. Morning and evening ESL classes are available. TEEM classes cover basic office skills and are designed for the unemployed or underemployed student looking to improve their skills for employment opportunities. The self-paced instruction includes introduction to computers, word processing, filing and bookkeeping. TEEM classes are available evening only. Classes are taking place now and are ongoing.
