Enrollment Process

The truck driver training program at LLCC utilizes a screening process to help ensure the employability of the graduates from the program.  This process includes an on-site visit, an informal interview with the program director, and a review of the student's motor vehicle driving record.

The first step for enrollment is to contact the Truck Driver Training School's office at 217/786-2565 or 800/727-4161, ext. 6-2565 to schedule an appointment with Bob Howard.

Once the student has made the decision to enroll, they will come in for a second visit with Bob Howard.  During this visit, the student will be given a packet which contains a classroom text book and other materials.

They will also receive paperwork for a Department Of Transportation physical and drug scan.

Bob will discuss all the policies of the program and place the student in the next available class.
