2008 LLCC Students

Parents

It's never too early to encourage your child to explore and define their career path. Students who have an early focus will develop a plan and goals and will be engaged and committed to their high school education.

The Illinois economy will need 80,000 new workers each year through 2008. Most of these jobs will require education beyond high school.
....20 percent will require professional degrees
....62 percent will require skilled labor

These jobs demand more knowledge and high levels of skill. They require people who have solid academics, technical proficiency, productive work habits, problem-solving skills, communication skills and the ability to think logically and work in teams.
