Waiting for Godot 2012

Waiting for Godot 2012

Was performed: April 13, 14, 20, 21 at 8PM and April 15 at 3PM 2012

Waiting for Godot is the existentialist masterpiece by Samuel Beckett. It deals with the very essence, purpose and meaning of our existence. In it, two fellows, Vladimir and Estragon wait on the “road” for Godot to come. Their waiting is interrupted first, by the appearance of Pozzo and Lucky and finally, by a boy who informs them that their Godot “will not come today but will surely come tomorrow”. It is clear from the context of both acts, which bear a starkly similar structure: that they have been waiting in this fashion for some time.
