Online Proficiency Program
Current Online Faculty
In order to maintain online proficiency, faculty members may elect to participate in an Academic Innovation & eLearning training program that is designed to incorporate developments in instructional technology.
Online Proficiency Program
The Online Proficiency Program will consist of workshops, seminars, and training sessions designed to provide existing online faculty with opportunities to update current online teaching skills, technical and pedagogical, as well as gain new knowledge on subjects about and related to online learning. These offerings will be provided through a variety of delivery methods.
Academic Innovation & eLearning offerings that will be a component of the Online Proficiency Program will be clearly marked as such in the Academic Innovation & eLearning workshop/training schedules offered to the college. Offerings in the Online Proficiency Program will be designated point values based on the content and outcomes of each session or series. Point value for each offering will also be included in the Academic Innovation & eLearning workshop/training schedule.
Upon successful completion of 16 Points in the Online Proficiency Program, participants will be paid a lump-sum stipend equivalent to one contact hour at the overload rate.
