Practical Fundraising for Local Non-Profit Volunteers and Staff
Attendees will discuss fundraising experience in small groups and then outline a $100K custom fundraising initiative for the local nonprofit organization they represent. This 3-hour seminar involves interactive discussion of successful components of recent small non-profit fundraising projects and campaigns in Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. The facilitator will present brief outlines of a recent $100K major gift initiative, and a $2M 6-month campaign, both of which occurred in small Midwestern communities. A discussion of practical realities in specific areas will follow, and participants will outline a custom future campaign for their non-profit organization. The discussion is aimed at small, local, grassroots agency boards, volunteers and staff.
