LLCC’s College for Kids classes provide fresh and fun subject matter to motivate children and keep them challenged and active throughout the year! Students can enroll in a variety of culinary, arts and STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) classes. Courses are taught by experienced and motivated instructors who encourage and challenge students in an atmosphere that supports inquiry and exploration including lectures, group discussions and fun lab/hands-on activities.
What is Summer College For Kids?
CFK is our summer enrichment program for students who have completed grades K-8. A variety of classes, one (1) hour in length, are offered during the month of July.
Summer classes are held Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Students choose three classes to attend throughout each week-long session, exploring new interests, discovering exciting challenges, or developing skills in a fun and exciting way!
We want YOU!
We seek highly motivated instructors who are interested in teaching topics of personal interest, current trends, and/or subject expertise.
If you wish to share your time and teaching talents as part of our CFK program, please complete and submit the CFK Proposal Form:

Students attending our youth programs bring their curiosity, excitement, and love of learning. Our instructors work hard to provide classes that are engaging and fun. And our CFK Volunteer Corps helps to make the experiences positive for everyone involved! Whether it’s an hour or an entire day’s worth (8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.), we encourage you to give as much or as little time as you are able during one or more of our scheduled sessions.
