SPRINGFIELD – The Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) Board of Trustees is seeking interested candidates for Trustee of Subdistrict 6.
LLCC Subdistrict 6 includes all or parts of Morgan, Scott and Cass counties. The Trustee will be chosen by a vote of the current Board.
The Board must fill the vacancy by March 4, 2022, and the new Trustee will hold the position until April 2023. All persons from Subdistrict 6 who wish to be considered for the vacancy should express their interest in writing to the Secretary of the Board of Trustees. Candidates for the vacancy should address the following in the written materials submitted:
- Reasons for seeking the appointment;
- How the individual’s qualifications will add to the composition of the Board in fulfilling its responsibilities to the District’s citizens;
- Experience in other areas which may enhance public policy or decision making;
- Any other information or materials the candidate believes would be useful to the Board in making this appointment.
