Monday-Thursday, Feb. 8-11 – AAHM Trivia … Knowledge Is Power! Test your African-American history knowledge focusing on historic events and people of African descent who have pioneered, invented and taken a stand to change laws, hearts and minds for civil rights and equality in America. Tuesday-Thursday Feb. 16-18 – Legacies in Motion; Speak Your Truth: Video testimonials featuring LLCC staff Asia Jackson, Brandon Lewis and Rashawn Jones inspired by Rosa Parks, Barack Obama and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Speakers will explore the impact these influential African-American leaders had on their lives and future success. Monday-Friday, Feb. 22-26 – LLCC’s Got Talent Week: Students, staff and faculty share their talents through virtual recorded performances in honor of AAHM.
