Mission statement: The mission of the English Studies Club (ESC) is to serve as a catalyst for those interested in majoring, minoring or wanting to know more about the diverse facets of English studies. The ESC will function as a community of readers and writers that enhances the school’s outreach about all things literary.
The purpose of this student group shall be to:
- Function as a niche club for LLCC students interested in writing and literature.
- Encourage participation in activities associated with writing and literature, including students sharing their own writing, literary discussions, field trips to places associated with writing and literature, and networking within associated disciplines and fields.
- To provide students opportunities to interact with and gain support, feedback and networking with peers and professionals interested in or currently pursuing their interests in writing and literature.
