Clinical Medical Assistant CMA 100 12 510801 30 9 Health Professions There are two certifications offered through this program:  Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), which is through the National Health Career Association (NHA) and the National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) which is offered through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). In the state of Illinois, Medical Assistants are not required to be certified. The two certifications the student takes are national certifications.  Other states may have specific requirements.
CNA to Medical Assistant Bridge CMA 200 12 510801 35 5 Health Professions There are two certifications offered through this program:  Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), which is through the National Health Career Association (NHA) and the National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) which is offered through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). Students are required to be a licensed CNA to take this program, in good standing with IDPH Healthcare Registry and have 300 verifiable work hours as a CNA within the last six months. In the state of Illinois, medical assistants are not required to be certified. The two certifications the student takes are national certifications.  Other states may have specific requirements.

Massage Therapy NA NA NA NA NA NA Medical District State of Illinois massage therapists must take and pass the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam (MBLEx) through the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards, as well as be licensed through the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation (IDFPR). To offer this program, a school must be approved by IDFPR and meet the minimum program hours of 600.  LLCC’s program is 650 hours and we are approved by IDFPR. Illinois
