Program Information:

As the second largest employer in the nation, the culinary and hospitality industry allows for a very broad variety of jobs. If you are passionate, creative, and a self-driven hard worker, this industry has many opportunities.
This Baking and Pastry Certificate of Completion prepares students to have the knowledge and skills required for entry level employment in baking roles in restaurants, hotels, independent bakeries, retail and wholesale markets, and high volume bakeries. Coursework includes customer service, costing, and food preparation including basic cooking, advanced baking and pastry, plated desserts, cake decorating and artisan breads.  Both classroom and real-world applications are used with hands-on training in our state-of-the-art facility.

  • This program is applicable for those entering the field for the first time and those looking to further their baking abilities to move up the ladder.
  • This certificate of study must be taken in its entirety to meet requirements.
