Accreditations

Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission

Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, www.hlcommission.org; 312.263.0456.

The Higher Learning Commission is one of six regional accrediting bodies recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.  When evaluating credentials, employers and universities often look for applicants who earned their degree from an accredited university.

The College became a member of the HLC Open Pathway in 2018.

Council for Higher Education Accreditation

The Higher Learning Commission, which accredits Lincoln Land Community College is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

CHEA is an advocate for quality assurance and institutional accountability and transparency in higher education.  To that end, it works actively to strengthen accreditation through recognition of 60 accrediting agencies.  It is a membership organization of colleges and universities that share these goals.
