The health, safety and well-being of the Lincoln Land Community College community are our highest priorities. In light of the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, some LLCC offices are open remotely. Staff are currently operating on summer hours and are available by phone and online to assist students and the public Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
LLCC main campus and Outreach Centers are offering select in-person services starting July 27. Learn how to schedule your appointment at www.llcc.edu/student-support-resources-in-person-services. All visitors must adhere to all safety guidelines, including:
- Completion of health questionnaire, including a temperature check upon arrival;
- Wearing of a face covering at all times;
- Maintaining social distancing (6 feet apart) whenever feasible;
- Following all directional signage regarding “traffic flow” throughout buildings;
- No additional guests accompanying you on your scheduled visit, unless approved in advance.
Summer classes are underway, and registration for fall classes is open. Four class formats will be offered for the fall 2020 semester: face-to-face, online, remote and flex. These formats are designed to provide students with safety and flexibility in choosing their preferred learning environments. Read more about class formats for fall. Aug. 2, 2020 – I would like to keep the college community informed. We have learned that an LLCC employee tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday. The employee had no direct contact with anyone on campus and is currently quarantined at home. Please continue to take all precautions both at the college and when in the community.
Our wonderful faculty and staff continue to work together to keep college operations underway in unprecedented times.

Our Illinois Small Business Development Center at LLCC has been on the front lines of providing guidance on recent economic challenges and opportunities. Out of ongoing concern for the safety of our community, summer College For Kids youth programming will be moved online for 2020, Academy of Lifelong Learning programming is continuing via Zoom and Community Education is offering a number of courses through Ed2Go online. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Illinois Department of Public Health provide regular updates and helpful information on their websites.
Some of our cancellations/postponements include: Loggers’ baseball and softball spring seasons are canceled. Community Education in-person classes, Bistro Verde and all activities involving community groups meeting on the LLCC campus or at any LLCC Outreach Center are canceled until further notice.
