Employment and education:

Jeremy is a sergeant with the Illinois State Police. He earned his Associate in Applied Science from LLCC studying law enforcement, and he earned a Bachelor of Science in law enforcement and justice administration from Western Illinois University.

How has Lincoln Land Community College impacted your life?

LLCC provided a decent education at a very reasonable cost.

What is your greatest accomplishment(s)?

Being named the 2010 Statewide Officer of the Year for the Illinois State Police.

Who or what has served as a source of inspiration for you?

Jesus Christ

What advice do you have for current or future LLCC students?

Work hard, believe in yourself and lean on God for support.

What did you like about LLCC or what is your favorite LLCC memory?

My favorite memory is winning the baseball national championship in 1994.

Is there anything else you would like to share?

For my job, I am an instructor in the following:

  1. Control & arrest tactics
  2. Rapid deployment (active shooter)
  3. Firearms (pistol, shotgun, rifle)
  4. Emergency vehicle operations course

And personally, I am a member of the Gideons International.
