The College Board Advanced Placement (AP) program allows students to pursue college-level studies while still in high school. Students who have completed the AP exam(s) may be eligible to apply for college credit. Students should send official AP scores to LLCC Records for evaluation. LLCC awards credit for the completion of certain licensures, certifications and registries. To request credit recognition for a state or national exam passage, contact the department dean/associate dean responsible for the program discipline in which credit is requested. Credit for College Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams is awarded for certain subject areas. The DANTES Subject Standardized Tests (DSST) program gives students the opportunity to receive proficiency credit for learning acquired outside the traditional college classroom.
