Adjunct positions come open when there is an actual need or assignment. In some instances, a position will be posted to build a pool of qualified candidates for future use.
Upon submission of your application, you will receive a confirmation email and emails will go to those individuals you listed as a professional reference. The department dean and faculty coordinators review all applications and identify whom they wish to interview. The department dean will call those selected for an interview. Those not selected for an interview or for the position will be notified of that via email. It can take several months for departments to complete the review of submitted applications.
For online teaching positions ONLY, the QM certification listed in the qualifications is required; therefore, applicants that do not have this certification will not be considered.
