High School Programs

There is a growing interest from high school students who want to get an early start on their college education.

Lincoln Land Community College has partnered with several area high schools to offer opportunities for students to earn college credit in "concurrent enrollment programs." There are two types of concurrent enrollment programs. To find out if one of these programs is available at your school, contact Lynn Gerton (217-786-2582, lynn.gerton@llcc.edu).

Dual Credit

Dual Credit consists of students who have registered through their high school and the college. They are enrolled in a specific course or courses at their high school that award high school credit(s) and college credit(s) simultaneously. Dual credit is available through the Springfield, Taylorville, Litchfield, Beardstown and Jacksonville locations.

College NOW
