LLCC Community Education

Refunds and limitations

Refunds are given to all cancellations seven calendar days prior to the class. After that time, no refunds are available as class supplies are purchased. If LLCC cancels a class, participants will receive a full refund in the manner of initial payment received.

Cancellation

LLCC reserves the right to cancel, combine or divide offerings and/or change the instructor, time, date or place of offerings as necessary and to do so without incurring obligation.

See separate policies for programs offered in partnership with the Culinary Institute and for all travel opportunities.

Gift certificates

  • To purchase a gift certificate, contact the Community Education office at 217-786-2432 or community.education@llcc.edu. Gift certificates can be purchased in any amount.
  • When redeeming a purchased gift certificate, gift certificate holders (the person using the gift certificate to enroll in a class) will be issued a refund for the gift certificate balance if it is not all spent in one transaction. The refund will be in the form of a check and mailed to the student’s address on file within 10 business days. Note that if the person who purchased the gift certificate differs from the person using it to enroll in a class, the original purchaser does not receive the refund, the student who uses it to enroll does.
  • If you drop a class that was paid for using a purchased gift certificate, you will receive a refund in the form of a check which will be mailed to your address on file within 10 business days. Note that if the person who purchased the gift certificate differs from the person who used it to enroll, the original purchaser does not receive the refund, the student who used it to enroll does.
  • To register for a class with a gift certificate, you must present the gift certificate in person at the Registration desk in Menard Hall or to the Community Education office in Millennium Center, Room 1135. If you are not able to come in person, contact the Community Education office at 217-786-2432 for alternate arrangements.
