Due to COVID-19, the Culinary Institute is offering a variety of online baking and cooking classes. We offer pre-recorded videos for you to watch at your own pace. Shopping lists will be provided prior to your class so you can be prepared to bake or cook along with the chef. Please check the schedule below for a list of monthly offerings. A link to the registration page can be found listed below the classes by month descriptions. Please register at least two days before a class start date. Refunds will only be given to cancellations made seven calendar days prior to a class.
Students are strongly encouraged to register early (at least one week in advance of class start date) to secure their seat as many classes fill quickly. Conversely, classes may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment so your early registration can make the difference.

- Challah Bread
Bake up a traditionally braided loaf of this rich yeast bread. The leftovers make the best French toast!

Like where to buy a purple carrot, how to make the perfect bar-b-que sauce for your summer grilling, what to cook with your kids, or when to plant the seeds of future juicy, ripe tomatoes? Follow Jay, Sean and Nancy from LLCC each week as we share recipes and stories, and answer your questions about food. Food is our job and our passion. We’ll follow the seasons to connect you with the food, methods and land of central Illinois. We’ll offer practical information and give you the tools needed to be successful in the kitchen, to be healthy, and to find new reasons to love your food.
Gift certificates are available for any of our offerings; however, Culinary Institute offerings have become popular to give as gifts. This requires a special registration procedure – please call the LLCC Community Education office at 217-786-2432 if you are interested in this option.
