Computer Basics

Feb. 17, 9–11 a.m.

This beginners workshop is for those who are new to using a PC. Participants will learn how to navigate the Windows 10 operating system, identify the main parts of the desktop, distinguish between applications, files, and folders, how to manage and resize windows, and how to save files.

Navigating Generational Differences in Today’s Workplace

March 3, 8:30–11:30 a.m. 

This workshop helps participants understand, communicate with, and engage a multigenerational workforce. Through dynamic discussions, role-play scenarios, and practical exercises, attendees will explore generational traits, communication preferences, and values to foster inclusive and productive workplace relationships. Participants will identify and challenge age-based assumptions, practice inclusive communication strategies, and build action plans to enhance intergenerational collaboration. The session concludes with a focus on leveraging diverse strengths, fostering trust, and promoting mentorship across generations.

Excel Level 1

This beginner-level course introduces participants to Microsoft Excel's core functions, including spreadsheet navigation, data entry, formatting, basic formulas, and chart creation. Learners will build foundational skills for organizing, calculating, and visually presenting data, while also exploring tools like AutoFill, sorting, filtering, and worksheet management.

Internet Basics

March 17, 9–11 a.m.

This workshop is for beginners who are new to the internet or want to build more confidence finding information online and navigating websites. Attendees will learn about web browsers and search engines, build skills to navigate the internet, and discover tips and tricks for basic and advanced searching online.

Cybersecurity Basics

April 7, 9–11 a.m.

This beginners workshop is for those who are interested in safety online and want to protect themselves from fraudsters and scams. It will build participants' confidence when they are visiting websites, creating passwords, and responding to email.

Excel Level 2

April 14, 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m.

Designed for intermediate users, this course focuses on advanced formatting, date and financial functions, conditional logic, and formula auditing. Participants will learn to use tools like Scenario Manager, Goal Seek, VLOOKUP, and nested IF statements, enabling more sophisticated data analysis and spreadsheet functionality.

Building Strong Teams Through Inclusive Practices

April 22, 8:30–11:30 a.m.

Creating a workplace where everyone feels respected, valued, and able to contribute strengthens teams and drives performance. This session highlights how effective organizations cultivate inclusive practices that support collaboration, trust, and engagement across diverse teams. Participants will explore practical approaches to recognizing bias, building cultural awareness, and fostering inclusive interactions-internally and externally.
