If you like science and problem solving, engineering science may be just the area of study for you. Design, building, machines and structures are all a part of engineering. With tracks in civil, computer, industrial, mechanical (aeronautical, manufacturing, mechanics) and chemical engineering, LLCC’s engineering program provides students a strong foundation for transfer to a four-year college or university.
As a technician or engineer, careers can be found in such areas as civil, computer, industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, aeronautical and chemical engineering. Employment is expected to increase 5.2 percent for engineering technicians and 6.4 percent for engineers between 2016 and 2026. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the 2017 median annual wage for engineering technicians was $62,230 and for engineers was $97,250.

Engineering Science program courses have standard tuition rates. For the 2020-2021 academic year (fall 2020, spring 2021 and summer 2021), these courses have an in-district rate of $133.00 per credit hour. Fees are $11 per credit hour. Get more information on tuition and fees.
