Key Program Features
In LLCC Agri-Business you can learn business principles that apply to real-world issues and opportunities in the agriculture industry. You will gain in-depth knowledge of the ag industry in soils, crops and animals, while also learning business skills such as computing, accounting, sales and economics. With an agri-business management associate in applied science degree, you are prepared to work for businesses that provide needed services to farmers and will be well-positioned to work your way up into management positions. Ag students at LLCC receive quality hands-on training in excellent facilities with dedicated instructors.
Employment of sales and related workers is expected to grow 10.6 percent between 2016 and 2026, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. The average annual median salary in May 2017 for sales and related workers was $33,890.
Time to completion: 2 years
LLCC has a 2+2 agreement in geography with Quincy University. A 2+2 agreement allows you to take the first two years of an agri-business major at LLCC then transfer as a junior into the program at Quincy University.

Investment in Your Future
Agriculture (AGR), agri-business management (ABM) and agri-fertilizer operations (AFO) courses have a variable tuition rate. For the 2020-2021 academic year (fall 2020, spring 2021 and summer 2021), AGR, ABM and AFO courses are $166.25 per credit hour for in-district residents, and all other courses in the program have a standard in-district rate of $133 per credit hour.
