Key Program Features
According to a 2015 report by the American Trucking Associations (ATA), nearly 70 percent of all freight is transported in trucks on the nation’s highways and qualified drivers are in high demand nationwide.
Students can train for a trucking career with LLCC’s Truck Driver Training program, which combines both classroom and a hands-on approach to obtaining a class A commercial driver’s license with all endorsements. Classes are taught by professionals who have years of teaching experience as well as over-the-road driving experience.
Students can complete the program in four weeks (day) or six weeks (night). Upon completion, students have the basic skills to become a safe, professional, commercial driver and secure an entry-level position in the trucking industry.

LLCC offers the following program to successfully equip you for a career in the trucking industry:
Time to completion: 4 weeks (day) or 6 weeks (night)
The program has four 2004, one 2016 and one 2021 Freightliner tractors with straight 10 speeds and 53′ box trailers. Learn more about the program and what is covered in the four-week training.

Location: From Interstate 55, take exit 90 at Toronto Road and go east. Follow Toronto Road until you come to the stoplight at the entrance to LLCC. Once you arrive on campus, make the first turn right. We are located straight ahead in the Workforce Careers Center. Enter the doors on far left (east) end of building. Our office is located immediately to the right through the double glass doors next to the stairs.
