Key Program Features
Electricity is an integral part of our everyday lives — from home wiring to industrial equipment. At LLCC, students gain practical hands-on experience in the maintenance of both residential and commercial electrical systems. Program courses cover AC and DC circuits, AC industrial controls, electronic devices, industrial wiring, circuits and mechatronics. Students are prepared to enter the workforce in electrical and electronics repair, commercial and industrial equipment maintenance/repair, semiconductor processing or an electrician apprenticeship.

(Note: In addition to the Commercial Electrical Maintenance Certificate of Completion, an Associate in Applied Science degree is available. Opportunities may vary on the educational level earned.)

Investment in Your Future
For fall 2021, spring 2022 and summer 2022: Fundamentals of Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD 151) is $168.00 per credit hour for in-district residents, and all other courses in the program have a standard in-district rate of $134.50 per credit hour. Get more information on tuition and fees.
