The annual Giving Day event for Lincoln Land Community College is being held Friday, Nov. 13, when the community is helping advance the mission of the college by raising essential funds for student needs. Alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of LLCC are encouraged to participate. Every dollar given will be matched up to $5,000.
Gifts of all sizes are welcome and appreciated. The LLCC Foundation has a General Scholarship Fund and Emergency Fund among others that provide donors with options to help students. Visit llccfoundation.org/giving-day.
Student recipients of the financial assistance are a diverse group of individuals committed to the value of an education and the opportunities it offers, most of whom continue their education at four-year universities or pursue careers. LLCC Foundation scholarships are made possible by community businesses, organizations and individuals, in addition to the annual faculty and staff giving campaign.
The LLCC Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation providing financial support to educational programs and services of the college by assisting in increasing and enhancing the physical and cultural environment of the college to positively impact students, alumni and the community.
