LLCC to host Campus Visit Day June 16

SPRINGFIELD — Prospective students interested in starting or restarting college, training for a hands-on career or building new skills are invited to visit Lincoln Land Community College for Campus Visit Day on Tuesday, June 16, 5-7:30 p.m. The free event will be held at LLCC’s Springfield campus, 5250 Shepherd Rd.

“Campus Visit Day is a great opportunity for students to explore what’s possible at LLCC,” said LLCC President Charlotte Warren, Ph.D. “Whether they’re pursuing a transfer degree, preparing for a workforce career or simply looking to grow their skills, we’re here to provide a supportive, high-quality and affordable path forward.”

Guests can tailor their experience by choosing from three breakout sessions and campus tours. Breakout sessions will address topics such as choosing a major or career, paying for college and making a smooth transition to college life. Tour options include the Workforce Careers Center, health professions programs, transfer program facilities and the Kreher Agriculture Center. Attendees will also have the opportunity to apply for admission, learn about financial aid and speak directly with faculty and staff about LLCC programs and services. Refreshments will be provided.

Registration is encouraged at www.llcc.edu/campus-visit-day, though walk-ins are welcome. Prospective students who are unable to attend can scheduled a visit for another day by calling or texting 217-786-2292 or visiting www.llcc.edu/visit-llcc.
